OTE and Prime Video ink multiyear streaming rights deal

Atlanta-based six-team basketball league Additional time Elite (OTE) and retail large Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video agreed to a multiyear, multi-game streaming rights deal Wednesday, November 2.

The settlement is the primary international media partnership for the two-year-old league and provides Prime Video unique international streaming rights to twenty reside video games per season for the subsequent three seasons.

Opening weekend of the 2022-23 OTE season noticed two sellouts on Thursday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 21, in line with OTE. The 20 video games on Prime Video will air reside on Fridays and Saturdays, each massive nights for a league that caters to a youthful demographic. All video games will air reside from OTE Enviornment which is situated close to Atlantic Station and the not too long ago opened Microsoft workplace.

The published schedule will start Friday November 4 and run via the OTE postseason and Finals which finish on March 4, 2023.

There are plans for Prime Video to start filming a season-long sequence that’s scheduled to debut in 2023, in line with a launch from Additional time Elite.
